Neuromodulators (Botox)
Long Island, New York Yee Cheng Low, MD
Softening Lines Without Softening Expression
- 10–15Minutes in-office
- 3–7Days to results
- 3–4Months of effect

Neuromodulators temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to soften fine lines and dynamic wrinkles — the lines that appear with movement and expression, before they’ve had time to etch into resting skin.
What Are Neuromodulators?
A small amount of neuromodulator is injected into specific facial muscles, reducing the muscle contraction that causes overlying skin to fold and crease. Commonly treated areas include crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines between the brows.
Because Dr. Low performs every injection personally, placement is guided by the same detailed knowledge of facial muscle anatomy he applies in the operating room — important in areas like the brow, where imprecise dosing or placement can affect brow position and expression.

- Softens crow’s feet, forehead lines, and glabellar lines

Dermal fillers restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours using injectable gels — most commonly hyaluronic acid-based — placed to address specific areas of volume loss or to refine shape.

Chemical peels and laser treatments address skin tone, texture, and pigmentation — concerns that come from the skin’s surface quality rather than from volume loss or structural descent, and that respond well to non-surgical treatment.
ExploreFacial Fat Grafting
Much of what reads as facial aging is volume loss rather than sagging.
